Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), March 24 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said on Monday it expects its consolidated sales to grow 8.21% on the year to 45.3 million levs ($32.3million/23.2 million euro) in the first three months of 2014, as sales are seen to amount to 14.8 million levs in March alone.
Consolidated sales increased 12.22% on the year to 30.5 million levs in the period January-February, Stara Planina Hold said in a monthly bulletin.
Subsidiaries M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] and Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] posted an yearly increase of 14.79% to nearly 16 million levs and 8.77% to 7.8 million levs in the for the first two months of the year, respectively. Car battery manufacturer Elhim-Iskra [BUL:52E]’s sales also went up by 4.55% on the year to nearly 5.0 million levs for the period under review.
M+S Hydraulic’s pre-tax profit amounted to 2.7 million levs through February while reported pre-tax profits of 1.0 million levs and 201,000 levs, respectively.
