Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), May 23 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said on Friday it expects its sales to grow by an annual 7.75% to 78.5 million levs ($54.8 million/40.1 million euro) through May.
The sales of Stara Planina Hold's subsidiaries Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] and M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] are seen increasing by over 10% and 9.0%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2013, the holding said in a statement on its website.
In January-April, Stara Planina Hold’s consolidated sales increased by 8.0% on the year to 62.8 million levs as in April alone, its sales went amounted to 16.7 million levs.
M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] reported a pre-tax profit of 5.5 million levs in the first four months as sales increased 9.6% over the year.
Hydraulic Elements&Systems (HES) posted a pre-tax profit of 2.1 million levs through April on sales of over 16.2 million levs, a jump of an annual 10.2%.
Car battery manufacturer Elhim-Iskra [BUL:52E], another company part of the Stara Planina Hold group, made 362,000 levs in pre-tax profit in the first four months of the year as sales went down by an annual 4.0% to 9.2 million levs.
