Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTBulgarian brewer Zagorka, part of Dutch-based Heineken International, said that it is building a solar park at its brewery located in the city of Stara Zagora.
The first photovoltaic panels have already been installed and the brewery will be able to use green energy for part of its production process very soon, Zagorka said in an e-mailed statement on Wednesday.
The company expects its electricity bills to decrease sharply on an annual comparison basis following the completion of the project, which will also lead to a reduction in carbon emissions.
Zagorka aims to use only renewable energy sources in its production process by 2030, according to the statement.
