California produces 136.5 GWh green power on Oct 3

California’s renewable power output on October 3, excluding large hydro, inched down to 136,474 MWh from 141,919 MWh on Friday, statistics by the California Independent System Operator Corp (ISO) show.

The wind power output for the day stood at 17,755 MWh, a 7.28% increase, but solar photovoltaic (PV) parks saw a small decrease in productivity to 82,205 MWh from 83,284 MWh on October 2.

California's solar thermal power output was also down by 3.15% on the day to 3,784 MWh.

On October 3, power generation by small hydropower plants (SHPPs) stood at 4,541 MWh and geothermal power plants generated 16,615 MWh.
