Elawan bags Google PPA for 37-MW solar project in Texas
Sep 19, 2024 13:49 CESTPVH Corp (NYSE:PVH), the apparel major that owns brands such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, has joined the RE100 initiative, committing to source 100% renewable electricity for its operations by 2030, the company announced on Wednesday.
Joining The Climate Group’s RE100 initiative, which unites companies from various sectors aiming to power their operations with renewables only, PVH pledges to reach the point where it uses 100% renewable electricity for owned-and-operated offices, distribution centres and stores worldwide by 2030, and 50% by 2025.
PHV has also entered the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which aids companies set greenhouse gas reduction targets to limit global warming. The initiative is a partnership between CDP, United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute and WWF.
