Canada-based Das Capital eyes investing in Albania - Albanian govt

TIRANA (Albania), December 7 (SeeNews) – Canada-based investment group Das Capital is interested in investing in Albania, the Albanian government said.

Das Capital mulls over investing in Albanian tourism and recreation, as well as in mining, David Subotic, chief investment officer and DAS Capital private equity fund manager said, quoted on the government’s website on Thursday.

The group is also interested in investing in Albanian energy sector, in the construction of hydro power plants, in mines privatisation, and in oil and gas search and exploitation.

Albania entered the group’s map of interest due to the successful experience of Canadian companies in the country, Subotic said.
