Canadian solar mounting solutions manufacturer Polar Racking Inc has been awarded a contract to supply its equipment for a 38-MW solar project in Alberta, Canada.

Polar Racking said it was selected for this assignment by Canadian renewable power producer Concord Green Energy. The solar farm will be located in a place called Tilley in southern Alberta.

The manufacturer will provide engineering design services and its all-weather CORE fixed-tilt ground-mount system and helical pile foundations for the project. Polar Racking's solutions are designed to withstand heavy environmental loads including wind, snow and frost, making them the preferred choice for project owners in Canada, the US, and the Caribbean, the company stated.

Polar Racking has so far supplied over 3 GW worth of its solutions across North America and the Caribbean, and has a pipeline of 3.4 GW, according to its figures.
