Marmen to restart wind tower production for 350-MW Quebec project
Sep 18, 2024 16:11 CESTNov 8, 2012 - Canadian power retailer Bow Valley Power today said it had agreed to sell 5.5 million kWh of renewable electricity for five years to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel in the province of Alberta's Banff National Park.
The EcoLogo certified green electricity volume that the hotel will receive under the agreement, will meet 50% of its power needs and will save 4,840 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, Bow Valley Power calculates.
Bow Valley Power is a regional electricity retailer that provides renewable power and conventional electricity across Alberta. It serves customers in 123 communities throughout the state.
