Sonnedix buys 80-MW solar farm in Italy, more purchases to follow
Sep 19, 2024 14:32 CESTDec 13, 2013 - German wind and solar park specialist Capital Stage AG (ETR:CAP) said today it had boosted its installed capacity in Italy by 5 MWp to over 26 MWp with the takeover of four solar parks.
The plants were sold by Interenergia Spa for an undisclosed amount. The deal was financed with a portion of the funds raised in Capital Stage's recent capital increase.
They solar power plants in the sunshine-rich regions of Marche and Abruzzo started operations in 2011. Chief executive
Felix Goedhart explained that the good climate conditions in the area would allow Capital Stage to secure double-digit returns from the investment.
Capital Stage Solar Service GmbH will take the parks' technical service and commercial management in future. Thus it will raise its volume of under management capacity to 160 MWp.
