The clean electricity will be supplied under a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) which is set to come into effect from January 2025.
The deal with Centrica Energy Trading A/S marks STMicro’s second power offtake agreement in the country. In November, the chipmaker secured about 250 GWh of wind power per year under a 15-year PPA with Italian energy company ERG SpA.
