Australia puts green tick on 300-MW solar project in Queensland
Sep 20, 2024 6:04 CESTChinese state-owned power company China Huadian Corporation could build a 30 megawatt solar park in Kikinda, in northern Serbia, Belgrade-based media reported.
The option for the implementation of the project is included in a cooperation memorandum signed by the secretary of the department for energy and mineral resources of Serbia's Vojvodina province, Radoslav Strikovic, and officials from the Chinese company, broadcaster b92 (www.b92.net) reported late on Thursday.
If the relevant negotiations are completed successfully, China Huadian Corporation will foot the bill for the project which is seen at between 75 million and 105 million euro ($99.4 million-$139.1 million), b92 said.
Serbia currently has no solar power plants.
