Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTJul 23, 2013 - Chinese solar-grade polysilicon maker Daqo New Energy Corp (NYSE:DQ) said today it had received the authorisation of its board of directors to launch a share buyback programme worth up to USD 3 million (EUR 2.2m).
The programme will be effective immediately and will concern issued and outstanding ordinary shares or American Depositary Shares, representing ordinary shares in open-market purchases, in negotiated transactions off the market, in block trades or through other legal means prior to July 23, 2014.
Daqo New Energy manufactures and sells high-quality polysilicon to photovoltaic product manufacturers. It also produces and sells photovoltaic wafers.
