China's ReneSola buys PV park in Romania - Wolf Theiss

China-based solar products maker ReneSola has entered the Romanian market by acquiring a photovoltaic (PV) park in the country, law firm Wolf Theiss, which advised the transaction, said on Friday.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Wolf Theiss has advised Renesola New Energy S.a.r.l., part of ReneSola Group, in the acquisition of 100% of Romanian company Lucas Est S.R.L., the law firm said in a statement.

"The complexity of the transaction consisted in analyzing all legal aspects entailed by developing a park in Romania, from permitting, real estate and regulatory aspects to corporate and financial aspects as they are imposed by the Romanian relevant legislation [..]," it added.

Wolf Theiss also said it is currently assisting ReneSola in multiple legal due diligence investigations and acquisitions in Romania.
