French PV manufacturer Carbon sets sights on compatriot Photowatt
Sep 20, 2024 14:21 CESTApr 27, 2012 - French engineering group Constructions Industrielles de la Mediterranee (CNIM) has received the support of French environment and energy management agency ADEME for development of its new-generation solar farm, located in La Seyne-sur-Mer, southern France.
CNIM aims to become a major player in the sector as designer, technology expert and builder of turnkey plants and aims to export the technology to medium-sized cities in the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
CNIM, which posts an annual revenue of EUR 665 million and employs some 2,600, specialises in the design and construction of plants using non-fossil energy.
