Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CEST(ADPnews) – Aug 18, 2010 - Chinese photovoltaic (PV) equipment manufacturer CNPV Solar Power SA (EPA:ALCNP) today announced it has signed a long-term contract to supply 30 MWp of photovoltaic (PV) modules to Tamrag Power in Nepal and Bangladesh.
Under the terms of the strategic agreement, deliveries will run between 2010 and 2012, with 5 MWp scheduled to be supplied during 2010. The remaining 10 MWp and 15 MWp are scheduled for delivery in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
The solar modules will be used for both on-grid and off-grid applications in Bangladesh and Nepal on a 50-50 ratio, B. Veerraju Chaudary, chief operating officer of CNPV, told news outfit Recharge.
Tamrag Power (www.tamraggroup.com) is a developer and supplier of renewable energy products for Nepal and Bangladesh projects.
