Collett Transport announced that working on behalf of General Electric (NYSE:GE), it has successfully delivered 88 wind turbine components for the 49-MW Drumlins Park Wind Farm project in Ireland.

Energia Renewables, part of the Energia Group, is currently building the eight-turbine wind park one mile south of Newbliss in County Monaghan.

The unit of Collett & Sons Ltd has utilised super wing carriers to transport 65-metre-long blades, flattop trailers for the additional 15-metre-long blade tip, and tower clamp trailers for various tower sections. When assembled, these parts will form eight GE 158RD turbines.

The Drumlins Park Wind Farm is planned to enter into service next year. It will have the capacity to meet the electricity demands of about 34,000 Irish households.
