Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTColombian energy company Celsia SA has installed 4 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays on rooftops of manufacturing facilities in the Zip Bufalo industrial park in Villanueva, Honduras.
The PV system spreads across ten rooftops covering a surface of 30,000 square metres (322,917 sq ft). With 11,596 solar modules installed, the arrays can generate around 5,640 MWh per year and meet 18% of the power consumption needs of the export-oriented industrial park.
The Zip Bufalo project is Celsia’s first rooftop PV system in Honduras. The Colombian company was in charge of the project from the design to operation and maintenance (O&M). The output off-take was arranged via the power purchase agreement (PPA) model.
