Chile's renewables share climbs to 45.5% in Sept
Nov 07, 2024 15:26 CESTSep 23, 2014 - Chilean consortium Consorcio Eolico Los Olmos SpA has requested an environmental permit for its 141.9-MW wind power park Los Olmos, to be built in Mulchen commune, Biobio.
The owner plans to invest USD 298 million (EUR 231.9m) in the project. The environmental plan, presented by Consorcio Eolico Los Olmos SpA, was accepted last week by the Chilean environmental authorities, which will be reviewing it by December 17, 2014.
The facility will have 43 wind turbines of 3.3 MW each. The project also includes a power substation to be connected to the future complex.
