Wind turbine manufacturer Senvion India has received a new order of 86.4 MW from Continuum Green Energy for a wind project in the state of Gujarat, the former announced on Thursday.

Specifically, Senvion India will equip the wind farm with turbines from its advanced 2.7M130 platform, installing each of them at a hub height of 140 meters.

In addition, the company has been awarded a 20-year Fleet-Pro Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract for the project in question.

This is a repeat order that brings Senvion India’s total intake from the particular customer to 270 MW, spread across five sites. The supplier expects to initiate turbine deliveries in October 2024 and to achieve grid commissioning by March 2025.
