World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTMar 12, 2012 - Brazilian renewables company CPFL Renovaveis announced today it will contract investment banks to analyse a possible initial public offering (IPO).
The company said it will keep the market updated and did not provide further details.
CPFL Renovaveis was created last year via the merger of the renewable assets of Brazil's power firm CPFL Energia (SAO:CPFE3) and green energy investment player ERSA.
It has small-scale hydroelectric power plants (HPPs), wind parks and biomass energy projects. Its portfolio totals 850 MW in operation, 885 MW under construction and 2,703 MW in development.
