Croatia's net electricity production dropped by 8.8% on the year and by 28.3% on the month to 952 GWh in April, the country's statistics office said on Monday.

Croatia's electricity imports increased 22.3% on the year to 593 GWh in April, while exports rose 32% to 194 GWh, the office said.

Month-on-month, electricity imports dropped 11.4% and exports plummeted 57%.

Electricity available for the domestic market amounted to 1,331 GWh, down 2.3% on the year and 12.9% on the month.
