Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTThe Croatian town of Bjelovar will receive co-funding from the regional development ministry and programmes sponsored by Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland for a 27 million kuna ($3.9 million/3.6 million euro) project to develop and build a geothermal well with an estimated energy potential of four megawatts of heating energy, the local authorities said.
The exact amount of the co-financing is currently unknown but is expected at about 10 million kuna, the head of the town's infrastructure and urban planning department, Kristina Kocur, said, as quoted in a statement by the town authorities on Monday.
The construction of the well is expected to be completed in two years.
