Jordan Green agrees land deal for solar-powered green ammonia hub
Sep 20, 2024 5:52 CESTCroatian company Eko Cirkvena plans a 0.5 megawatt biogas-fuelled power plant in the Koprivnica-Krizevci county, data from the website of the country's energy regulator indicated.
The planned annual electric energy output of the power plant, which will run on biogas derived from agricultural crops and organic waste from the farming and food industry, is 4.0 gigawatt-hours while the heating energy output is seen at 18.6 million megajoules, the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency said in a preliminary decision on granting the project promoter the status of eligible power producer.
The preliminary decision, issued in June, has a two-year term of validity.
The Koprivnica-Krizevci county is located in northern Croatia.
