Croatia's Gumiimpex-GRP commissions 999 KW solar power plant

Croatian rubber products maker and distributor Gumiimpex-GRP said on Monday it has commissioned a 999 kilowatt (KW) rooftop solar power plant in the northern town of Trnovec Bartolovecki.

The solar power plant, mounted on the roof of Gumiimpex-GRP's facilities, is expected to produce 1,113 megawatt hours of electricity annually, the company said in a statement.

Gumiimpex-GRP was granted the status of privileged power producer by the country's energy market operator, HROTE, it added.

Gumiimpex-GRP supplies the domestic market with tyres for cars, trucks, buses and large working machines under the brands Michelin, Goodyear, Sava, Bridgestone, Kormoran, etc. It also provides products for technical maintenance of industrial plants.
