Croatia's net electricity production declined to 1,664 GWh in December from 1,725 GWh in the same month of 2020, the country's statistical office said on Friday.

Electricity production in December was higher than November's 1,354 GWh, the country's statistical office said.

Electricity imports rose to 968 GWh in December from 736 GWh in the same month of 2020, whereas exports went up to 916 GWh from 853 GWh.

Electricity imports rose 26% in December compared to November, while exports were 58% higher month-on-month.

Electricity made available to the domestic market amounted to 1,707 GWh, up from 1,602 GWh in December 2020 and 1,521 GWh in November 2021.
