Croatia's net electricity output rises 25% y/y in Dec energy, power, consumption, power grid, electricity

Croatia's net electricity production increased to 1,498 GWh in December 2019 from 1,197 GWh in the same month of 2018, the country's statistical office said on Friday.

On a monthly comparison basis, December's electricity output was only slightly up from 1,484 GWh in November, the statistical office said in a statement.

Electricity imports plummeted to 690 GWh in December from 1,067 GWh in the corresponding month of 2018, while exports increased slightly to 586 GWh from 575 GWh.

Month-on-month, electricity imports grew by 13.5% in December, while exports fell by 6.8%.

Thus, the electricity made available to the domestic market amounted to 1,593 GWh in December, up from 1,459 GWh in November and down from 1,660 GWh in December 2018.
