Mirova to invest EUR 480m to back RP Global's European IPP ambitions
Oct 25, 2024 11:10 CESTZAGREB (Croatia), April 17 (SeeNews) – The programme of the Split-Dalmatia county for the use of renewable energy sources envisages locations for 30 wind and for 20 solar farms, local media reported.
The majority of the solar power plant locations are planned for the mainland while five would be offshore, news daily Slobodna Dalmacija (www.slobodnadalmacija.hr) reported on Monday.
The implementation of the programme will require changes to the county's zoning plan which are in the final stage of preparation and should be enacted by the county assembly by July, the daily quoted an official from the county's economy, development and EU integration directorate as saying.
The planned changes to the zoning plan should create the key conditions necessary for wind farm investments of around 600 million euro ($788 million), the official said.
