Danish Greentech Energy sells substation to Italian Terna

Feb 1, 2012 - Danish wind-farm manager Greentech Energy Systems A/S (CPH:GES) said today it had concluded the sale of the Monte Grighine substation to Italian power grid operator Terna (BIT:TRN) for EUR 3.6 million (USD 4.7m).

Greentech Energy finalised the Monte Grighine wind project, located in Sardinia, in October 2011. The construction of the farm was delayed by several years due to permit issues and legal obstacles and was completed as late as June 2010.
