Danish Nexo port plans to install wind power - report

Oct 8, 2013 - Nexo Port, on Denmark's Bornholm Island, considers to install two small wind turbines to satisfy 75% of its own energy needs, the port's president Birger Rasmussen told Danish broadcaster DR last week.

The turbines will be installed in the area of the Aqua Baltic salmon hatchery.

The proposal is pending approval by local authorities.
