Uniper delays EUR 8bn investment plan amid weak hydrogen demand
Nov 08, 2024 15:04 CESTNov 28, 2013 - German consumers' interest towards small-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems continued to rise in October for the fourth consecutive month, according to the SolarContact morale index, published by DAA Deutsche Auftragsagentur.
The SolarContact morale index measures the interest among consumers in private PV systems.
The index showed a continuing increase in the interest towards small-scale PV systems of up to 30 kW in October.
The positive trend was due to the lowering degression of the feed-in tariffs, according to DAA. The tariff reduction in October stood at 1.8% and will decline further to 1.4% for the period from November 2013 to January 2014. The degression was introduced to the renewable energy law (EEG) in 2009 in order to limit the PV expansion to 3,500 MW.
The total installed solar capacity in the first nine months was 2,700 MW, which is a 57% decrease year-on-year.
