The Dominican Republic’s national energy commission CNE has approved a definitive concession for the 50-MW/67-MWp Washington Capital Solar Park 2 project to be installed in the country’s Santo Domingo province.

CNE last week signed the concession contract with the project company WCGF Solar II SRL, an entity affiliated with Glendale, California-based private equity fund Washington Capital Global Finance.

WCGF Solar II will build the solar farm in the town called Mata de Palma. The concession is granted for a period of 25 years, according to CNE’s archive.
