Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTOct 9, 2013 - German solar firm Donauer Solartechnik Vertriebs GmbH Monday filed for insolvency after failing to obtain approval from the local authorities to sell a building in its home town of Gliching.
The sale was meant to help Donauer Solartechnik replace credit lines and was also one of the conditions for a merger with a partner.
Donauer Solartechnik, a wholesaler of solar energy products, employs about 90 workers. According to its website, the company has operations in Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Brazil, Oman, Austria, Greece and Switzerland.
Donauer Solartechnik was founded in 1995.
