German investment firm Quadoro said today that its subsidiary Doric Green Power GmbH & Co KG has put into operation a 9.6 MWp solar park in the German federal state of Thuringia.

The project was implemented in collaboration with Berlin-based solar developer ib vogt GmbH. The facility is located on an area of 8.4 hectares in the municipality of Niederorschel and consists of 16,900 solar modules and 32 inverters.

"The solar park in Niederorschel is just the beginning of a series of projects in Thuringia aimed at sustainably strengthening the region and advancing the energy transition," Doric’s portfolio management head, Tobias Reber, was cited in the statement.

Doric has also invested in four other photovoltaic systems at various locations in Germany.
