British oil and gas major BP Plc (LON:BP) has awarded a five-year global framework agreement to French engineering and advisory company DORIS for the provision of offshore wind engineering services.

DORIS, which boasts a 20-year track record in offshore wind, said in a statement that it will be delivering engineering for scopes such as concept development, pre-FEED (front end engineering and design), FEED, and detailed design for BP’s projects on a global basis.

The company noted that alongside strategic partner Turner & Townsend, it will assist BP in its goal to develop 50 GW of net renewables generating capacity around the world by 2030.
