Arteche invests in flywheel maker Teraloop to join energy storage space
Sep 06, 2024 15:21 CESTDutch oil storage firm Vopak (AMS:VPK) said Wednesday it had sold its two terminals in Finland to Oiltanking Sonmarin Oy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of German terminal operator Oiltanking GmbH, for some EUR 43 million (USD 46.9m).
Vopak expects to book a profit of EUR 18 million on the sale in the third quarter of 2015.
The terminals have a combined operational capacity of 175,400 cu m (6.2m cu ft).
The sale is in line with Vopak's plans to offload fifteen smaller terminals. The company operates 74 terminals in 27 countries with a combined storage capacity of 32.7 million cu m.
