Lhyfe to supply four German fuel stations with green hydrogen
Sep 04, 2024 9:07 CEST(ADPnews) - Dec 29, 2010 - The new E10, containing 10% biofuel, will be launched at all 14,000 filling stations in Germany from February 2011, or one month later than originally planned, Klaus Picard, head of the local Petroleum Industry Association MWV, said in a Tuesday interview with daily General-Anzeiger.
Initially the new fuel was to be available at filling stations across the country from January 1, but the expenses in connection with the introduction of E10 are very high.
The fuel's launch was approved by the Federal Government and the council of German states, the Bundesrat, in the autumn of 2010.
The "E" in the name E10 stands for "ethanol" while the number 10 stands for the 10% bio-ethanol mixture.
