All funds in place for 1.5-GW Al Ajban solar project in Abu Dhabi
Sep 18, 2024 8:34 CESTJan 21, 2014 - Portuguese power utility EDP (ELI:EDP) has signed a partnership agreement with Abu Dhabi's green energy firm Masdar to jointly identify and develop projects for power generation from solar and wind power sources.
EDP and Masdar signed their memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the visit of Portugal's environmental minister Jorge Moreira da Silva to the UAE. The visit was aimed at promoting the use of green energy.
The minister also met with ADIA - Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and presented various investment opportunities in Portugal in the energy and environmental fields.
