KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTMar 10, 2014 - EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR), the green energy arm of Portuguese power utility EDP (ELI:EDP), has proposed to pay a gross dividend of EUR 0.04 (0.056) per share on the 2013 earnings, unchanged from a year earlier.
The proposal will be discussed at a general shareholders meeting called on April 8, the company said on Friday in a regulatory filing.
The shareholder remuneration proposed for 2013 corresponds to a dividend yield of 0.87%. The distribution will start on May 8 and the ex dividend day will be three days prior to that date.
EDP Renovaveis recorded a net profit of EUR 56.999 million for 2013, of which EUR EUR 34.9 million will be distributed as dividends, and EUR 5.6 million and EUR 16.4 million will go to legal reserves and voluntary reserves, respectively.
The company's stock has appreciated 18% on the stock exchange since the beginning of 2014. Shares were adding 0.77% to EUR 4.594 on Euronext Lisbon at 0902 local time today.
