KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTOct 17, 2013 - EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR), the green energy arm of Portuguese power utility EDP (ELI:EDP), generated 14.2 TWh electricity in the nine months to September 2013, up 7% year-on-year, EDP Renovaveis said yesterday in a regulatory filing.
The rise was due to stronger generation in all markets, except for Brazil where production fell by 7% to 153 GWh. The biggest market for EDP Renovaveis continued to be the USA, accounting for 51% of the overall output. Spain came second representing 29.7% of the total. The production in the USA and Spain added 1% and 13%, respectively.
The company’s load factor stood at 29% in January to September 2013, unchanged from a year earlier.
The installed capacity totalled 8,165 MW divided among nine countries at end-September 2013, up by 428 MW in annual terms.
EDP Renovaveis will release its earnings for the nine-month period on October 30.
