EIB lends EUR 100m for sustainable energy projects in Italy

(ADPnews) – May 9, 2011 - The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Friday it will extend a EUR 100 million (USD 144m) loan to Italy's Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna (BIT:EMII) to finance sustainable energy projects.

The objective of the framework loan is to support small to medium scale investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency that would contribute to the EU energy and climate change targets, the EIB said.
