The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Monday it is considering lending 38 million euro ($41.9 million) to an unnamed private investor for the construction and operation of a biodiesel plant in Croatia.
The project consists of the construction and operation of a biodiesel plant that will produce renewable energy fuel mainly from waste, used cooking oil and animal fat, the EIB said in a statement.
The total cost of the project is 50 million euro.
