Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTEl Salvador's General Superintendence of Electricity and Telecommunications (SIGET) received a total of 18 bids in its 28-MW renewable energy tender.
The offered bids concern 12 solar and six biogas projects. Both national and foreign investors participated, the institution announced on Thursday.
According the auction's guidelines published on SIGET's website, the winners will have a 15-year period concession period for their projects. With this stage completed, the next step is the technical evaluation for the qualification of proponents, which should be concluded by February 2019.
The signing of contracts with the winners is scheduled to take place from March to April of next year. Solar projects will have a one year term for their implementation while biogas schemes are granted a further six months.
