Empower Energies to build 24-MW solar portfolio across US

US solar energy company Empower Energies Inc on Wednesday said it has secured contracts to build a portfolio of solar projects with a combined capacity of over 24 MW across the US.

The portfolio consists of solar parking canopies and rooftop installations to be built across Texas, Delaware, Arizona and Ohio.

The contracts are with a company that is among the 100 biggest in the US based on the Fortune 100 list. Empower Energies is already working on 18 projects with a combined capacity of over 60 MW for the same client.

The company has already completed clean energy projects with a total capacity of over 200 MW across the US and has solar and storage projects with a combined capacity of over 800 MW currently in development.
