World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTGerman solar project developer Enen Endless Energy GmbH is seeking to raise EUR 1 million (USD 1.15m) in a crowdfunding campaign to finance the development of three solar projects with a total capacity of about 101 MWp in Germany.
The three ground-mounted photovoltaic systems will be located in the states of Saxony and Brandenburg and construction works are expected to start within the next four years. Enen will not be responsible for the construction and operation of the parks.
The three projects include the Hirschfelde solar park with a planned capacity of 55 MWp, the Uhsmannsdorf solar farm of 26 MWp, and a third solar plant near the town of Neusalza-Spremberg in Saxony with a capacity of 20 MWp. All three projects are currently under development.
The crowdfunding campaign is being implemented with crowd investment partner Wiwin and is open to investments starting from EUR 500. The interest rate stands at 6%.
Limburg-based Enen specialises in the development, financing and construction of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems and has implemented reference projects across Europe with a total capacity of 750 MWp.
