World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTGerman solar developer Enen Endless Energy GmbH has launched another crowdfunding campaign to finance the development of a 55.4-MWp solar project in northern Germany.
The solar plant will be located in the Nossendorf municipality in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The project will be developed by Enen and is expected to be ready for construction within four years. After that, it will be sold and Enen will not be responsible for the construction and operation of the facility.
The campaign runs from February 17 on the crowdfunding platform Wiwin and is open to investments starting from EUR 500 (USD 568.60), Enen said on Thursday. The interest rate stands at 6%.
Enen and Wiwin have already partnered on several campaigns which raised capital for the development of ground-mounted solar plants across Germany. The two previous campaigns sought financing for seven solar projects with a combined output of nearly 200 MW.
Limburg-based Enen specialises in the development, financing and construction of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems and has implemented reference projects across Europe with a total capacity of 750 MWp.
