World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTFeb 14, 2013 - German photovoltaic (PV) systems wholesaler EnergieBau Solarstromsysteme will provide support and services to the German distribution customers of local Phoenix Solar AG (ETR:PS4), which is refocusing to international operations, Photovoltaik magazine reported yesterday.
Earlier this week, Phoenix Solar unveiled plans to dispose of its loss-making operations and strengthen its presence in Asia and the USA under a new business strategy. The company will thus divest its components & systems business in Germany and close its distribution unit.
Phoenix Solar sees EnergieBau as a reliable partner, which will provide competent services to its long-term customers in Germany, Phoenix CFO Bernd Koehler was quoted as saying.
