A US subsidiary of Israeli company Energix Renewable Energies Ltd (TLV:ENRG) yesterday said it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for 13 MW of solar power with non-profit organisation The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation.

The contracted energy will be supplied by Energix's Hollyfield II solar farm, located in King William County and operating since July.

LevelTen Energy, which runs an online platform that connects providers and buyers of renewable energy, facilitated the deal.

For Johns Hopkins Health System, which is based in Maryland, this is the second solar agreement after a 20-year lease for 13.6 MW signed with SolarCity in 2016.
