Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTLatin American solar and energy efficiency specialist Enertiva SA has secured a contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the 6.5-MWp solar project in El Salvador.
In a statement on Thursday, the company said it had received the order from Hamburg-based asset manager MPC Muenchmeyer Petersen Capital AG (ETR:MPCK) after becoming the winner of a private bidding process.
Under the terms of the turnkey EPC contract, Enertiva is to deliver, install and commission the San Isidro Solar Park and be in charge of the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the PV farm, located in San Isidro municipality, Cabanas department.
Enertiva expects to break ground on the photovoltaic (PV) project in the second quarter of 2020. The solar park's output will be injected into the network of local company CAESS, a domestic subsidiary of US-based AES Corporation (NYSE:AES).
On February 6, MPC Capital announced it reached financial closure with El Salvadorian bank Banco Agricola for the San Isidro facility, Enertiva noted.
