Sonnedix buys 80-MW solar farm in Italy, more purchases to follow
Sep 19, 2024 14:32 CESTDec 12, 2013 - Italian Enertronica SpA (BIT:ENT), a company operating in the sectors of renewable sources, energy efficiency and electromechanical systems, said Wednesday it had launched the development of a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 1 MWp in Italy.
The project for the solar plant, located in the Frosinone province, is worth some EUR 1.2 million (USD 1.7m) and should be completed by end-January 2014, a statement read.
Enertronica will use mainly Italian components for the construction of the plant.
The plant currently in construction represents an important achievement for Enertronica and will allow significant cost cuts, the company's president and CEO Vito Nardi commented.
