Poland's Engie Zielona Energia, part of French utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI), said on Monday it is looking to buy solar and wind projects in Poland of at least 30 MW.

The target facilities should be compliant with the requirements for grid feed-in, Engie Zielona Energia said in a media statement.

Recently, Engie agreed to buy photovoltaic (PV) projects in the country with a total capacity of 102.5 MW for over EUR 97 million (USD 104.22m) from Polish PV installer and developer Columbus Energy. The deal includes projects at stages of completion, commissioning or operation, Columbus said then without specifying their location.

As part of its strategy to develop zero- and low-emission technologies and solutions Engie is building a portfolio of PV and wind farm projects in Poland, the company noted. It already has four wind farms in the country with a total capacity of 138 MW and 69 PV arrays of some 63 MWp.
